WOW ML! This is an excellent post. I'm speechless. You are so right! You think you know someone totally but u don't know what they've been through in life or what they've had to go through. Sometimes people keep it inside b/c it's better that way..there afraid of how people might judge them or what people would think of them. So the pain stays inside and comes out in different ways. And for validating what I had to say. :( Sad as it is, some people do go through events that will make them who they are. Another sad truth is the judgement part. Over the internet, we see only the parts of ourselves that we allow to be seen, that doesn't mean that it is the only parts of us there are. Amen, Monkey. So true, so true. Even hidden behind our computer screens we are "ourselves." i have been fascinated with "observing" people on the net. How they behave, what they say, how they interact. I just noticed a pal of mine once again flaming an innocent poster.(on another board not usm) It hurt me to see it. Then I came here to see your thought-provoking and honest post. I cant judge. but I can rethink my opinions of her. I dont know her pain. Thanks for the reminder. Monkey, my little niece, this is a FANTASTIC post!!! So very true that one NEVER knows what another goes through or has been through in thier life away from USM... I bet there are a LOT of people here who are ONLY happy when they are on here and they dont deserve to be insulted during their visit. Our lot in life, as human beings is to treat each and every one of the people here as we want to be treated... how easy that sounds.. *sigh*... I am human, just as you are, just as each person who is a member is... we ALL mess up and when we do, we need support, not put-downs... I also think that each and every one of us gets on that proverbial "PITY POT" sometimes .... some post about it, some suffer in silence... but we all do it.. we all are human. One thing that I DO know, Monkey.... is that YOU have so very much LOVE about you that it warms MY heart!!!! I love ya Monkey and I want to thank you for bring this up...
