You shouldn't be uncomfortable and if you are then you shouldn't feel guilty. Your brother had a serious medical condition and I don't see why anyone would put a stigma on it. I read your profile and you mention your sisters but not your brother, you should be proud to have had him in your life, hopefully he and you had some good times. :)  |

Mag--I used to have him in my profile..for awhile. Though, I took him off b/c it just seemed so depressing. I've had people in my life look at me differently after I tell them about my brother-I know i'm not imagining this b/c a couple people have told me. I feel that some people wouldn't want to hear about my brother and that i'm looking for 'sympathy' from them...I dunno. Thanks for the comment:) |

Well my dad's cousin is Schizophrenic. Some people in my family suffer from depression, ocd, and tourette's. I know how u feel tho as far as being uncomfortable about talking to people about things like this. Some people just don't understand..they can be cruel. Or like your scared of what they'll think of you and ur family..ya know? So I can relate. *Big Hugs*  |
