Ok, I have sat here in my home a little over a week now, since my KIDS were taken out of my home that horrible Wednesday night, waiting for some kind of info when the court hearing would be. No one called and No officer served any papers to me when it would be held. Well, today I descided to give the DHS a call to talk to the case worker. The receptionist said she wasn't in the office. I asked her who I would talk to then about my KIDS court hearing. She said to me, "the court hearing is going on right now as we speak." TOTAL SHOCK hit me!!! I asked her why no one contacted me about it. She said something to the affect very rudely that she was just the receptionist and didn't know. So I called the court house to find out if it was true that the hearing was going on. The lady on the other end told me she would get someone to talk to me. Well that someone was the county attorney and this is how are conversation went. I said, "so is it true that the hearing is going on NOW?" he says, "who told you?" I said, "I just called the DHS office and the receptionist told me." he says, "oh?" I then asked, "why wasn't i notified of when the hearing was? I wanted to be there so I could get my KIDS back! This whole thing is a bunch of bull!" he says, "didn't you get any papers served to you to tell you when this hearing was?" I told him, "NO! I haven't even got to set things up with my new lawyer or even talk to him yet. My Pre-Paid Legal Services is still handling it and making arangement with a Lawyer closer to me." he says, "oh, you aren't using your lawyer you had before?" I said, "no, I can't cause I now have Pre-Paid Legal Service and have to go through them to get me a BETTER Lawyer!" he then says, "oh ok, well I'll tell the judge this and get back to you right away." I said, "ok, you do that, cause I want my KIDS back soon." CLICK and that was it!!! I waited and waited for over an HOUR and he never did call me back. I had to take my grandson home and I was late doing so. When I got back, there wasn't even a message on my answering machine from him. Something is VERY WRONG here!!! First, why did he ask me "WHO TOLD YOU" if I supposidly got papers served on me??? To me it seems like they were trying to hide this court hearing from me in the first place!!! Second, why are they doing this to me anyway??? I did nothing WRONG!!! I'm being punished for raising my KIDS and taking care of my two handicapped KIDS all these years by myself! I'd like to see them do it and NOT get a little mental and stressed once in awhile. They just don't know me or understand what I've been through taking these KIDS on all by myself. I've had so many people over the years telling me I should put my two handicapped KIDS in a home for the disabled. My parents even said this. I told them NO these are my KIDS and I LOVE them dearly! I could never do that to them! But look where it got me NOW! :( I don't understand any of this. Why am I being put thru ALL this PAIN of my KIDS being gone, money problems, and no relationship with a great man to be a father to my kids??? I'm about to go crazy. I'm crying with pain, anger so bad I wanna punch a wall, and I'm scared as POOP! My body is just shaking so much. I can hardly eat and the pain in my back has become worse than ever. I'm sitting here ALL ALONE with no help, no arms to hold me, no shoulder to cry on, no friends to talk to for comfort, and no family to reasure me and stand by me!!!!!
