We all get together, the whole family (grandma, brother and sisters, neices and nephews) and we go over to Candy Cane Lane and spend the evening having hot chocolate, singing christmas carols and enjoying all the christmas decorations..I'm so excited, tonight is the night we plan to go..(((HUGS))) |

Oh that does sound fun Chobie!! When I lived in my hometown, we used to go every year to the Village Christmas tree on Christmas eve and the kids would get to see Santa and get a treat while the adults congregated in the fire hall for coffee and donuts..It was a way for the whole community to get together and spend some time together on Christmas Eve...This will be the first year I miss..:( xoxo |

No, nothing that has been passed down, but I started my own. Every year I make a Goose for Christmas dinner. It is something that everybody looks forward to every year. Hoops2 |

I think that is so cool. Every year I make handprint ornaments of my son in plaster of paris for the christmas tree. |

Birdfeeder99, my 13 your old son read your tradition and said it was beautiful. I agree. He made me handprints when he was five and I cherish them still today, but I never thought of doin it every year for our tree. This is a very nice tradition you have. |
