I've heard that the movie was trying to stick to the book, but that there are mistakes. Ive recently read the books and can see how trying to make a decent movie out of them would be hard, but given the right producer it could be good. All the critics here in the UK are saying that they used the wrong producer though. Lord of the rings is said to be much better, but over three three hour movies it could drag on a bit *Farleys*  |

Ah I disagree. A director cannot be expected to fit an entire book into a movie, it would be much longer than it was. Chris Columbus did an excellent job keeping the movie almost exactly like the book, and I, probably the biggest Harry Potter freak living, loved it!  |
