Two Very Strange and Unsolved Murder Cases

When I was fourteen, I worked one summer in a pet store. One of the owners had long hair and reminded me of one of the Bee Gees and he was really nice. His dad called him "little Jesus" because of his hair and he hated that. His brother was a boxer and their dad was really proud of him for that. I'm sure that there must have been some resentment there. For this story, I'll just call the person I'm talking about here, the one who was involved with the pet store, "Joe." (all of the names in this story are fake but the events are real) It was a well known fact that Joe didn't get along with his father and then both of them suddenly disappeared. It wasn't long before a human torso was found on a nearby trail and it was found to be the father. I'll just call him Charlie. Nobody ever found Charlie's head, arms or legs and Joe was nowhere to be found either. Years later, a neighbor just happened to tell me that he had heard a very loud argument coming from the house next door one night and that Joe had had his van pulled around in the yard by the basement door. He said that it had suddenly become quiet and after a few minutes, the van left and never came back. My dad told me that a private investigator had brought the autopsy photos to show him at his place of work at the time and that he wishes he never did because the torso was so disgusting to look at. That crime has never been solved to this day. While I was working at the pet store that summer, I became with a woman who came in on the same day each and every week to have her two white poodles bathed and groomed. I have heard that she was a real "hellcat" who would contract for services and then never pay for them but we never had any trouble out of her. One week, she didn't show up for the usual appointment so I started trying to call her. There was no answer. I tried over and over for days and got nowhere. I finally found out why she wouldn't answer the phone. She was dead! Her husband was dead as well. They had both been shot in their home and by the time they were found, the poodles were eating them. That case has never been solved either. I don't get out much these days, but if I did, I'm quite sure that I would run into some interesting things. If this story has intrigued you in the least, I invite you to check out the rest of my submissions. I think they're far from boring and I believe that you might feel the same way. Please let me know.

How it changed my life:

I am realizing what an interesting life I've led to this point and I'm only 39.

Date: 1/29/2002 10:21:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 47699    Yeah, I've seen and experienced a lot of strange things in my day, Tina! I may not get out much except for going to the office every morning and the store and all of the regular stuff but I always still somehow manage to get my fair share of the bizarre. It's been that way all of my life. Who knows? Maybe I'm some sort of a human magnet which attracts the strange! ??????????????
