The Wrong Game

Birth, death,
Cycles of time.
Marbles being
Thrown at each
Other, working
To knock each
Other out.
My favorite
Bar friend Samuel,
Has thrown darts
With someone
He calls Jesus
For years, but
He knows that
Its just a repetitive
Thing that they do.
A black charted line,
With the marbles
Of homophobia,
Racism, sexism.
The thumping chest
Of the winner that
Calls himself correct.

This black circle
Contains the marbles
Of love, truth, and
Trying to just get by.

‘knock, knock, knock’

Swipe, all our gone.
Where do they go
After the circle?
The black line has
Been drawn for you
To knock them out.
My best advice
Is to find the
Bulls eyes, and
Throw your darts,
Constantly,
Furiously,
Vigorously.
Until your fingernails
Contain dirt that cannot
Be removed.

Sad thing though,
We’ve been shooting
Marbles this whole time,
And all we needed to do,
Was throw darts to leave
The marbles alone.
