I tried this once over night, it sort of worked. my whole pimple didn't go away but I think it helped a little bit. I have also tried glue and honey, those sort of worked to.  |

I think it just depends on your body chemistry. personally it doesn't work that great for me it's gotta be the paste that you use though not the gel. I just use natures cure works good for me!  |

Hi Cruella...lol..no I am not haunting your posts...let me tell you when I got a pimple "around my mom"...she would slap some toothpaste on it...but it`s not to cure it...its minty paste only makes the pain go away and dries it!...I used to hate it when my Mom used to do this to me!...Also when I used to get a stye...my mommy would make me put a cold object directly to the stye lol....she usually gave me an iron! lol!!! If you have a troublesome pimple...try one of those over the counter overnight pimple cures from stridex....I guess yer wondering why I am such a Pimple Expert??? Its cause I`m old thats why....lol......;~D  |

It actually depends on the toothpaste you use you need a toothpaste with a peroxide base ie mentadent. If it isnt peroxide based basically all your putting on your skin is some flouride and some mint flavor. And you shouldnt put toothpaste on your face it drys out your skin and makes you get wrinkles ewww!  |

I've never heard of putting toothpaste on a pimple but I do know that if you put Visine on it, it will take the redness out of it and make it look less obvious. ~~Angeleyez~~  |

It can work. But makesure the toothpaste u use isnt the gel kind it has to be "paste" apply it just to the pimple or u will get that flakey effect. =Michael_Myers=  |
