well, if you want to do majick and your a christian, why dont you become a wizard, wizardry uses majick but is not against God, the only things that i know of that christians shouldnt mess with is satanism, wiccan, and witchcraft. im pretty sure the rest do not conflict with religion(btw, i am a christian) >Leprecaan |

well, i cant find it, but wizardry uses all sorts of energies to solve problems and to develop abilities, bassically you should be a curious person who makes up thier own spells, techniques, etc. |

If God wanted you to practice Magick, directions would be in the Bible. There is no such thing, Unlike what you heard; God plainly stated Magick is against Him. |

Um..SPECIFICALLY it says witchcraft (magick) is against God. There is no such thing, the two are Christianity and Witchcraft are two things that do not at all go together. Sorry to burst your bubble..have a good day ^_^ ~Zeth366 |

yea but look the bible wasnt written all together. And it wasnt written in modern-day english either. We should have no idea what magic means. It never says that the women who did sorcery calmed the winds. Speaking of calming winds. Jesus calmed a storm in the bible. That could be defined as magick, right? Resurrecting the dead. Turning water into wine. Curing diseases. Flying up to heaven. Well that seems like magick to me. |

ohh yea this pastor told me I was given the gift of knowledge, could that be some sort of magick? |

Wizardry is not sorcery, a Sorcerer does sorcery while a wizard means "A wise man" who uses knowledge of the surroundments to his will and creates potions and other items with its uses. A sorcery uses chanting and requirements of the occult. now, firstly, the Pastor im not sure about but if its knowledge that leads to your personality then i guess that makes it easier.. |

First of all, all the miracles Jesus did where not magick, they were works of God's power. And also, the pastor probably means that you were blessed with the gift of knowledge from God. There is a verse in the bible that said God blessed all men with different gifts..I can't remember where, but If you want me to, Ill try and find it. ~Psionic366 |

Magic and witchcraft and stuff, is making things happen by calling something of higher nature which allows these things to happen, Mages say its nature whom they call and doesnt give credit to the one who lets all nature exist, Witchs and sorcerers call deviant forces to do it some ones even know they are using the devil's powers and continue doing it even knowing they would need to give their life in return. Prophets and Men of faith of ancient times also made things happen but by praying to God, they give all credit to the only one that can make miracles happen, they were channelers of God's power, unlike Mages who say its their own power or some other sort of power (which they believe is not evil) and Witches who are aware of what they are using, Moses once took credit for himself on one of these acts and was punished. So basically you can say these two are the same things but they call different forces, there is no thing like christian magic, there is faith and prayer, what makes things happen.<BR>
Today no one has been faithful enough to be in such close contatc with God, and only gifted ones can really act with God's power, But remember Bible also say there wont be any other miracles like these on ancient times, where these were needed to show God's power. After Jesus, who showed God's love, ppl who act with God's power are those who act with the power of love, and with lots of faith. -Simadeville Sean- |
