I believe it works. I don't like it and wouldn't allow some idiot put me under. Simply because of not being in control. There's no telling what some quack could plant in your mind or what you may say. |

It works. I don't think its AGAINST GOD *i hate it when people do this, dont ask its just a pet peeve* because there is no real harm to it, unless the person who hypnotizes does it with a harmful intention. |

Trust God with all things, he is a jealous God and wants us to come to him in all things. |

As far as I'm aware, the word hypnotism is not in the bible, as the field hadn't been explored yet. So how could you be doing something against God by trying to improve yourself? And if you do happen to remember a past life, you'll be all the more aware of the fact that you are a spiritual being having human experiences, not the other way around. Good luck. Peace, |

If it is in any way seen as being some form of power then chances are some religion will have deemed it EVIL and against God...after all, only the priests in a religion are allowed to hold any forms of power...anything else is forbidden...after all, religious leaders don't like people out doing them Peace, |

Well I'm Christian but I do not answer to preists only to God. believe what it says in the Bible, but I'm not sure what it says in there about it. I just have heard that the Bible talks against it, but have never seen it myself. |

I don't think it is really against God. But, my mom, who is a strict fundameltalist, always told me that when you mind is open, you are more prone to possession. That is, if you are not protected by the Holy Spirit. So, in my opinion, I think that if you are saved, then hypnotism can only do you good. If you are not saved, you are putting yourself into a risky situation, by opening your conscious to things of the unknown. |

Of course it works, just like hallucinogenic drugs work. If your mind tells you it's so, it's so. I can't imagine why it would be against God. But I'm an athieist, so I guess I don't count. |

I have been put into a hyptonic state with a pre-eminent psychatrist and what came out was all about God! I do not remember all the specifics of what I said; it was, however, recorded, transcribed and the written result put under "seal" (U.S. Post marked of the date it was transcribed, those machines cannot be turned back in date). I await the time it can be unsealed, not necessarily eagerly. It has been almost 13 years and I feel the time to let it all come out is fast appraoching. BTW, this "letter/report" was COMMISSIONED by God as He personally told me that it would come about four years prior to this hypnotic state. God Bless. |

Well if you are doing it for yourself to get better then I would do it. They say you have to WANT to get hypnotised to get hypnotised. I hope things turn out for the best |

LOL.. Religion is so fearful of things it doesn't understand. Everyone goes through "trance" 2 times every day, whether you realize it or not. Trance is the state just prior to sleep and the state just prior to waking. Anyone who says i cannot be put into a trance is wrong. This state of mind is ideal for mental suggestion and absorbing ideas or instruction. One cannot be forced to do anything. That's the stuff of fantasy. Hypnosis can be very helpful in many ways. Many people have kicked bad habits with it and developed stronger mental abilities as a result of it. There's nothing wrong with it. Just make sure you're working with a qualified hypnotist. |
