i think it's awful and i hope he gets punished - i think because it's made it this far, he will probably not get off scott free - but, no doubt he won't be punished as severely as he should..i'm with you, he should be castrated for punishment - since it doesn't hurt.  |

It is sick. But in a sociaety were killing pigs to eat em, some people just might not see it as such a horrible thing. just a little wild. I think the law should outlaw hunting and other un justifiable killings, then this uy could get procicuted. Other than that, he got the attention that he wanted and he has to deal with the negative feed back and the not so admirable feed back he will get~ |

Thanks for the comments. The thing that I dont understand is the amount of supporters that he has. People are defending his actions and saying that the state is wasting their time and tax payers money prosecuting this man. The animal rights people are not out there as they made the statement that the evidence would speak for itself.  |

It is inhumane treatment of an animal. To say that the animal felt no pain is ludicrous. He should get a jail term for premeditated cruelty and murder of the animal. Its not the same as a human but it is still illegal!  |

Well where I come from here in Texas, We castrate pigs all the time. The purpose for doing so is so that when you buy your Sausage from the Local grocerie store the Meat won't be strong and Rank! How many people in Florida Eat Pork? Well, do you think the Slaughter Houses gives them a Local anathesia before they bash their heads in, and Cut their throats, so they can bleed well? I personaly have castrated Many Animals in my day, without any pain killers. I too, have killed and help consume many of them! You animal right activist are simply nuts. Oh, scuse me, I forgot to say. IMHO!  |

You people play rough down there. And yes I've heard "bubba's" show. Low humor at best. Millions of hogs are castrated and slaughtered every day on farms and slaughter plants. That in itself is no crime, but in this context and situation there is some merit to the case.  |

Thanks for that input Haadam and BCAR, I guess that I lead a sheltered life and didn't know this. I still think that what he did was barbaric given the circumstances. I have heard that this individual would do or say anything for ratings. |

Whether it felt no pain or not, he no doubt can be prosecuted under cruelty to animal laws - he could be in the UK anyway, so I imagine it's pretty similar in FL.  |
