Well I don't need a tan. I am brown enough and get darker during the summer. LOL. No, never heard of painted on tan before and tanning beds, hmmm. Are those things safe? I have heard that the radiation of the UV rays give cancer. |

Ewwwwwwwww, Ouch. I quit the tanning several years ago. The damage to my skin is not good. I have moles that did not exist before, so I stopped tanning. |

Yeah, they have come alomg way with the tan in a can stuff. I don't use it because I am known for being pale but I know people that use some of the better over the counter ones and they look natural!! |

Let me explain about the spray on tan... You go into a room, get undressed, you put some kinda creame over your fingernails and toenails... then you stand on this little thing and all these nozels point at you... they spray on like three layers of stuff, i think it only takes about 45 seconds, then you towel off put back on your clothes and leave. It doesn't stain your clothes or hair... your not supposed to take a shower for four hours afterwards though... |

Lady BCAR (AKA my trainer) uses the spray tan in a bottle, I forget what brand. Just spray it on and rub it in. I've never seen chlorine streak it, or I certainly would have made fun of her (and gotten in big trouble). Try Noxema on the burn. |

Becky-- I typically tan easy and don't burn often... they MUST have had new bulbs and just didn't tell me...if you are pale skinned you ought to try the spray tan thing... it is supposed to look natural for anyone even if you have REALLY pale skin... or so they say! LOL |

This was ur first time tanning in a year and u went 15 minutes?????? Are you crazy??? LOL...u should have started out at 10 or 12. u even forgot to wear those goggles...dont u know u can do some major damage to ur eyes???? what kind of tanning place did u go to that they would even allow u to go in for 15 minutes without asking you when was the last time u tanned and without goggles???? the people who run that place should get in trouble...i work at a tanning place and we are very strict about tanning. sorry u got that burnt but i have to say its not entirely ur fault...the people running that place need to do a better job. Try putting some Noxzema on ur burns...it works. *HUGS* |

I burn if I even LOOK at the sun. I'm scared to death to go into a tanning bed for fear that I may turn into a permanent lobster. I have actually heard of that spray paint tan before and I've heard that it does look natural also. But I've never seen it on anyone. I tried that banana boat sunless tan stuff last year. But a word of advice.....when you go to sleep, HIDE IT FROM YOUR COUSINS. They may get the glorious idea to make you look like a spotted leopard in the morning..... |

awww Big Mistake...I go but I always start out at 5 minutes for the first few times and work my way up...I hope it feels better soon, I found that if you put the gell in the fridge and get it cold, it feels much better on the skin... *huggles n love* |

I have just stated tanning this season and the first time I went I only layed for ten minutes and was burned worse than I have ever been burned. My suggestions for you would be to constantly move around in the tanning bed and use your eye goggles. If you move around more, you're less likely to get burned. I hope you feel better. |
