Do You Cry At Sad Movies?

  Author:  49354  Category:(Discussion) Created:(3/14/2002 11:09:00 AM)

I hardly ever cry when I watch a movie or read a book. When I saw Titanic, I was the only one walking out of the theater with dry eyes. But it seems that recently, I cry at almost everything I see. I read the book A Walk to Remember and cried when I read that and then I saw the movie and I bawled and bawled. It was a good thing I was the only one in the theater or I would have disturbed a lot of people. I recently saw Life is Beautiful and cried really hard at that. I have a friend who cries at everything and even got tears watching Monsters Inc. Do you cry at sad movies?

Date: 3/14/2002 11:21:00 AM  From Authorid: 48525    I've cried at tv commercials!LOL. I cry at things that touch my heart, happy or sad.I remember reading "The Outsiders" by S.E. Hinton while in the school library and got to a really sad part, and tears just streamed down my face. I was in 7th or 8th grade at the time and bunch of girls started teasing me for crying because of a book. The librarian heard them and told them to get out of her library and told me that it's ok to cry at books, movies, etc, but it's not like I can control it.Roaryblue

Date: 3/14/2002 11:43:00 AM  From Authorid: 21499    I cried during Monsters Inc. too! that was ssoo sad! It had a good ending though! I cried almost all the way through John Q, still to this day Titanic couldn't get a tear out of me if they TRIED! (i think they did but it didn't work for me!). I cried in Lion King too! I don't tend to cry when i'm reading books (sometimes) but I finished Where The Red Fern Grows, in 5th period (3 more periods to go!) and all my friends were like "oh are you alight!" and one of them was like "finished the book huh?" It was ssoo funny! Btu ANYWAY! ypu i cry at sad movies!
