For those of you who don't know, he has been in basic training for the army for the past 7, almost 8, weeks. I hadn't heard from him, except letters, in that entire time. I've been absolutely miserable because although I'm proud of him for serving his country I miss him like CRAZY. But I got to actually HEAR HIS VOICE TODAY!!! God, you don't know how happy that made me. I almost busted his poor eardrums though when I picked up the phone and heard him say, "Hey, Baby!" All I could do was scream, "OH God, Oh god, CHRIS!!!" All these weeks of wanting to talk to him and all I could think to say was I love you, baby or I miss you baby over and over! I'm such an idiot, LOL! He only had 8 minutes and the drill sargeant was standing behind him counting them off for him, LOL! But, I got to hear his voice!!!
