Well, first of all, this is a very long story. So I'll tell it in different parts. Im gonna try and tell it Chronologically, but if i back up or fast foward, bear with me. This story/legend/belief/myth (call it what you will)revolves around other beliefs as well. I havent met many people who know this legend, so if anyone has heard about it. Please let me know
In the earth there exists 14 elements. Both earthly and unearthly. There are several layers in the earth. We're the lowest layer that recieves sunlight, which falls under the element of light. Which is very powerful element. Although deepwithin earth, there exists darkness, which corrupts the other elemets. Although not all worlds under us sucumb to the darkness, since many elements fall under light, including earth, therefore creating twilight. The 14 elements are Thunder/Lightning, Fire, Earth, Wind, Water, Life, Ice, Light, Darkness, Sky, Crystal, Metal, Moon and Time. I kinda know the classification of them. But not exactly. At anyrate, Also, before human beings arose and created great empires, there was another civilization. Right know they just call them "The Great Old Ones". They could be described as lower gods or maybe as demigods. They controlled many forces, including elements. Well something happened to that civilization, and shorly after they reached their peak, many of their greatest cities fell along with their civilization. This allowed the human beings to rise up and take over. Not all of the Old Ones died, many took refuge in different cities, and as of now, they are "asleep". Others came in contact with humans and thought us about the forces around us. And after awhile they blended in, sensing a greater force(s) behind our creation, since they did not create us. They also percieve a great evil(s) that haunted all human civilizations.
Now, since we were given free will, we can do pretty much what we can. There is now denying that a greater force created us. Supposedly fate does exist, but at a geater level, not all daily things happen becuase of fate. Although the belief that if your work enough, and risk enough, your destiny can be changed. But with its propper consequences. Which brings me to the following. We have certain fates, and God will not always interviene, only during the most trying times or when someone really needs it. With free will also came something both full of hope and dispair. The ablility to change our fates, both undividually and involving the whole species. So we gain the ability to change our current time line. But supposedly, if timeline changes, awful and terrible consequnces can occur becuse of them. And so they did. Since before the first great civilization, many timeline changes (time switches) have happen. Certain events and individuals can trigger this switches, but for the most part, most of the swithces occur when the whole planet agrees (since all life forces are connected in a big spiritual net). Not all changes are limited to the greater good of humanity. Many evil forces seek to damage humanity (i.e. Lucifer and his servats). Most time switches last for hundreds of years, but as they kept happening, they lasted less and less, making our timeline very unstable. The last switch began on 89 or so, and ended in 1992 or 1993 and will only last until 2005-2012. Sometime around that time, the planet must get ready for a BIG time switch, which might even be its last. And both good forces and evil forces battle for control of that switch.
