1 in 5 ?? I'd like to give myself better odds then that for this evenings sleep, but that sounds about right to make it another 45 years... Very interesting points brought up here, I like the comment on "having to eat the truth, but what is the truth"... If I understand your meaning correctly, You feel that the world is what you see and more importantly there is a great deal that you do not see... I feel that this concept is the truth, what is simply is... All that is seen and all that is not seen exists and there is no affirmative way to see what is not to be seen... The only thing that we as man is wait for the unseen to become the seen by remaining open and ready to accept... Take care wish you all the best...  |

Yeah, 5 to 1 odds? To make it 30 days at a 20% chance per day to die it would be better odds to hit the lotto the first lotto ticket you ever bought in your life. So is it better not to sleep and live? No. Insanity results. I've been there, done that, but for different reasons. For me the truth is God's Word, the reference the Bible. To live is Christ, to die gain. So weather I live or die, both are desirable to me. If I live, I hope to be made perfect in following Jesus. |

Good thought. Pretty hard to tell where the fine line lies between taking life for granted and and making every action count. What is reality? who really knows for sure. Everyone has a different perception. When someone walks blindly along, do we call them people of great faith or are they just plain fool hardy... who can tell. I guess its a matter of perception.. :) I like your post. very thought provoking.  |

Spare me if i have get ur post in wrong meaning. Truth seems to me living a LIFE. I mean LIFE! And for one fact, i think people does question what they can't and don't have. This bring me the thought "Desire, Expectations, Jealousy probably".. Whether or not, to put life as one truth is not enough.. Life is HUGE, Forming In ALL Angles....... Probably, to live the other way round, we would not be call human..... This is just my pure perception. Thanks for sharing!  |

I like to think that when I die ( for some reason i am thinking it will be a car crash) i will have a moment of understanding and calmness, where i know i am going to die and i am not afraid anymore. To me, that is appreciating life. *Juicy Trip Chick* |
