I didn't like USM that much. I joined, stopped coming for about three months, and then ended up liking it. Made friends, had some things happen that really peeved me, just like the life outside of the box:P No one really messaged me, and so i didn't really feel welcomed. First to actually talk to me was IcyFire. We were both in a band, and so we had some stuff in common. She's still my USM sister right now, and basically my closest friend from USM.  |

Well, when I found USM, I didnt at first know what it was all about. But learning quickly that it was a loving and caring site, I went with the flow.. lol :) The first people I talked to was Lady Dina and Corky, I immediately clicked with them and I still talk to them to this day, just not as much as I would like to though. But they took me under their wings and actually I was never asked to be in their families and they never asked... lol :) I cant remember if I called them my sis' first or they called me their sis, but either way they became USM family :D then from there I was asked or I said hey, your my sis! lol :) Good post :D *huge huggles* Love, Amanda  |

I certainly was welcomed with open arms...at first I really didn't think I'd fit in...but I still am here so it has been a good experience...quite a few people introduced themselves to me...I think Six Gun is the first person I met on here...then not too long after I was here...I started with the USM Family thing...Gail asked me to be her USm Daughter...I said Yes...We are still family now...and I am still friends with the same people...Love ya Sis and Hugs...ICL~*~*~*~  |

IT was very.. different.. I had a nice warm welcome, loving arms made me feel very welcomed on this site.. I actually can't remember much from when I first came onto this site.. lol.. I really wish I could.. I made friends gradually on my own, developed strong bonds, I was asked to be part of Sassy Girls family, the rest is history.. LOL! Oh Boy! I basically ran around leaving comments everywhere. Some people didn't appreciate them. I even had a few stories posted about me. This was back when you could use names and they would actually stay up for a while. My favorite was called "I wish the Hawks would just fly away!" It was about my husband and I and how are comments were sooo rude.It was deleted...lol! But it was hilarious! There were no pm's and chat, so friends were made on posts. There were no usm families. A lot of the people I new (3 years ago) have left. There's still a few here that I see around from when I first came here.  |

I could get really awful but then one day st. pete says, FIRSTBORN, cant you say anything nice? Well I said to myself, Lordy these are people here, and I've been trying to be different since then. lol when I first came here I was a very scared newbie who only thought this site had an urban legends board (lol i have no clue how i figured that) but then,i accidentally ckicked the home page,and walla! there were all these other cool boards,and then i was this one post (I think I remember it had Evil Eddy,Moon Pristess,and Moon Girl posting on it) i was thinking WOW this is cool,then i made a post,and became friends with Matt,then i discivered that chat room oo i loved that chat room lol.and since then I've made soo many friends and family:D lol....pssst,I remember when Tooles first came in chat,i think i scared the crap outta her with my questions lol(I used to know someone with the nick name Toodles and got wondering lol)  |
