Whos Fault Was It? ~Cruella DeVil~

Tonight I was talking to a woman on the internet that had a interesting story.

The woman was (I think) 33 years old, and had a husbend and 17 year old daughter. Her daughteralso had a 17 year old friend. The husbend and wife and daughter were going to a differnt state on for vaction and they ending up taking there daughters best friend with them. (hope this isnt confusing so far).

Anyways they ended up going out of state for the vacation. Since the girls were old enough to drive, the parents let them go out and drive around some. When the girls came home, the friend of the parents daughter had gotton a tatoo. Nothing very outragous. Just a rose on her forarm. Well the thing is, when they took the girl home, her parents start flipping out because they had clearly stated that they didnt want the girl to get a tatoo. They never told this to the parents tho becuase they didnt think that their daughter would get a tatoo while out of town with her friend.

Now they are blaming everything on the parents saying "Why didnt you stop her??". Of course The parents never knew that the other parents didnt want the girl to get a tatoo. So whos fault was it?

Love,Cruella Devil

PS-sorry if this was confusing lol

Date: 4/1/2002 10:02:00 PM  From Authorid: 48941    I feel it is the childs fault and never should of done it while away with her friends family, because now she has brought them in this mess because she knew better. laddybug44
Date: 4/1/2002 10:07:00 PM  From Authorid: 5892    I don't think it is anyones fault. (except maybee the tattoo artist who gave a tattoo to an underaged person!) The girl would have done it eventually if she really wanted to- regardless of what her parents think! They should be glad she had a simple innocent rose done- and not some slogan like "Sexy Thing" or bloody skulls with knifes in their heads or "I love Bubba"!!!
Date: 4/1/2002 10:08:00 PM  From Authorid: 26452    I thnk its the girl who got the Tattoos fault, she know she wasn't supposed to get one,but she did anyway.
Date: 4/1/2002 10:13:00 PM  From Authorid: 28190    I dont think it is anyone's fault really. if the girl's parents was sooo worried about it then they should have stressed that to the girl's best friend and her parents. And if the girl was under the age of 18 then it would be the tattoo artist or establishment that would be at fault, not the best friend's parents.. *huge huggles* love, Amanda
Date: 4/1/2002 10:25:00 PM  From Authorid: 50100    It's not the parents fault. They were not there when this took place. They should have a sit down with their daughter and apologize to the other parents. Kids these days!
Date: 4/1/2002 10:34:00 PM  From Authorid: 16845    LMAO @ cayenne! But I DO love bubba! I was crushed when I thought I killed the lil dude by not giving him water. see I don't have a green thumb and it's a mirical he's back jaws and all! lol eh I'm with everyone else no one but the tattoo artist could be to blame he should have checked her id...
Date: 4/1/2002 10:37:00 PM  From Authorid: 20956    well unless the parents drag their daughter's friend into the tattoo parlour and made her get the tattoo then its the girl's fault. She is 17 years old and has a brain of her own ~ she is old enough to respect her parent's rules ....
Date: 4/2/2002 12:05:00 AM  From Authorid: 52358    I feel that it should be the childs responsibility not the parents she is 17 she knows the difference between right and wrong,if they said that they did not want their daughter to go get a tattoo then they also should have let the parents know that she was going with**chic_unv**
Date: 4/2/2002 12:55:00 AM  From Authorid: 26598    The fault is with the girl who used her friends parents as fall guys for her getting a tatoo with out permission. That is no friend.
Date: 4/2/2002 1:15:00 AM  From Authorid: 35160    its the girl who got the tattoo's fault, she is 2 blame!!!!!!
Date: 4/2/2002 5:43:00 AM  From Authorid: 24856    There is no fault here. I find it interesting though, how blame can be put on others when raising a child...as in this situation. Surely the parent with the tatoo'd daughter knew she wanted one.....
Date: 4/2/2002 6:44:00 AM  From Authorid: 10534    It's the girl's fault, not her friend's parents....
