The only weird phone call I got was this one older sounding guy saying "is Abe there,I'm not really calling,I didn't really call,who is this? why did you call me?" and weird stuff like that.  |

This is eerie enough for me. My brother took his life in the year 2000. I got the call at about 4a.m. After we buried him, someone would call at that time for the longest. I don't know what their point was. As if losing him weren't enough. |

I guess you could call the eerie, but the voice printing ones are rather annoying. You know the phone calls that you say hello and hear nothing, then you either assume it was a wrong # or you would hear breathing and noise, or they would have hung up; but there is no dialtone. Then you try to push *69 and the # is blocked. If you happen to have caller id it says something like out of area. I wrote a story under the conspiracy theory section awhile back about this very thing.  |

I had an odd experience once. This elderly lady called my house, and she was asking me where her kids were. I told her she had the wrong number. She called back two times right after that. She sounded really confused and disoriented. She told me her name, and it was a strange last name, and I remembered it. Not long after that, I saw her obit in the paper, and it gave me the creeps...I don't know why, but it was creepy to me.  |

Yes I have!! it's very intense tho!! " Warning"! The phone rang one night & I answered it & a female voice said Danieta?? I said no this is Rose! She said you are not my daughter & I said no, but can I help you? She then told me her daughter had been murdered!! Horibly! I just sat & listened! It was at least an hour when she stoped! I replied the things I did & asked how she got my number? She said it was on a paper she had found & got brave enough to call! I don't know this woman but we are very good phone friends! we talk at least once a month!  |

I have had creepy calls- but unfortunatly they have been all to human in nature. The creepy breather or sexual overtone calls that freak you out!  |

When I was 14 or so (i'm 31 now) we started goofing around with a ouija board and we got this one spirit named"Gus". He was nice and really very chatty. Anyway, one night we(my friend and my sister) were at my house when the phone rang. I answered it and no one was there. This happened about 5 or 6 more times when someone had the brilliant idea of asking the board who it was. As soon as we started Gus came right through. We asked him if he knew who was calling-he said yes, we asked if he could tell us-he said yes, we asked him to tell us.....he said ME!! We flung that board across the room and I have not touched one since. He also asked another before this if he could show himself but thank GOD we said no. Talk about creepy! |
