Well, we have a meal plan that we HAVE to have, so we are required to eat, I guess...but I go without eating a lot (well I eat minimally) because the quality of the food is downright wrong! Don't ever get Sodexho or Marriot! They bite!  |

MG, you need to ask your parents for help. :( When you don't eat like that, it does more than most people realize. It upsets your bodies natural electrolytes. You get daily rations of protein, etc. from foods. You really need to ask for help. And concentration is harder than Heck when you haven't eaten, so your grades would go down... 3 or four days i do not remember it was because of losing someone.But that is definitly not good for ya.Poor thing try and at least get some kind of loaves of bread or something to eat.That skipping of meals is terrible for your health.  |

About 8 days. I started feeling sick and I didn't want to throw up so I didn't eat anything for about 4 days. Then I just kept getting more sick and then my grandma died, so I wasn't hungry at all. I think I finally did eat some macaroni after the funeral though.  |

I was sick and I got over being sick and after throwing up so much Ihad no apetite and didnt eat for 5 days. :) Not something to be proud of though. :) for a while I relised after I didnt eat for 5 days that WOW I was losing weight so I almost used it as a diet but I was lucky and relised it wasnt right :) good post  |

Okay now i am thinking that girl should be eating hehehe here is a cheapies list to hide under your bed,Those crakers with chesse about 65 cents a piece and they do not have to be refrigerated.Ummmm tuna is good box of saltines spam not that tasty but hey it is food and if donno can eat tons of it then we can all copy heheh ummm those beef sticks broth just add water and cup of soups those are all able to be hid from the certain sneaky people around that may try and borrow your stash of goodies.:)Oh yeah viennas not that great again but will do in a pinch.And bags of chips okay okay i have trained ya now in the poor way of eating go forth and spread the word hehehe just kidding but there were many times i was grateful for these very foods.:) |

hmmm... Get some freakin Rice! LOL its extrememly cheap! LOL Don't ask me how I survived buying food with a less than minimum wage pay. LOL and I did not want to call my mom either and tell her I only had 27 cents in my account and a whole week to go without any money to my name. But that's being a lil prideful don't you think? If you don't eat it messes up your brain, and you don't think logically anymore... its true! I would just try and buy cheaper food if its possible. And when your done being stubborn call your rents and pay them back later when you can.  |

Hi Moonie, don't you have a free food bank at your school? I wouldn't have made it a few times without it..especially when my "bottomless pits"- kids stayed with me. They ate a lot to grow so tall. 4 days ~ i had my wisdom teeth taken out and could eat anything cause my face looked like the Yellow M&M .... but the worst part of the whole thing (besides the fact that i was STARVING) was that i was constantly sick cause the pain killers i was on required me to eat and cause i couldnt i'd throw up .... but only the painkillers and a whole heap of bile. Lets just say i was not a happy camper for those 4 days!! .....  |

Hard decision to make. I can tell ya from experience, that if you get your body used to this, in the long run, it's gonna wear ya down. And then you'll have no choice but to go live your parents. Maybe ya could ask them to help ya out a lil bit, they won't think you can't make it on your own. If you explain to them what's going on. I hope I've helped. *hugs and love*  |

i have gone a month without eating. i wanted to lose weight and i chose the hardest way to do it. im not fat or anything. i just wanted to be really skinny. after not eating for a month i got really sick. i was always tired, and then i came down with bronchitis mixed with something else. i really couldnt eat anything then so i lost like 20 pounds in 2 months.  |

You certainly are to be commended for your hard work and independence. When you do buy groceries hon, eat things like potatoes,rice, beans pasta and other starches that are filling and less costly. Oh geez, I wish you lived near me, I would feed you! I do hope you take care of yourself, your not eating is not good or you, I bet your parents would send you a care package. You know getting out on your own is difficult, the real world is a struggle!  |

Hello Moon Girl. Well, quite a few days have I gone without "much" to eat. I really don't think that it's a very good idea though. I mean, if you're doing it as a planned diet or spiritual thing, I suppose then it's ok, maybe.. I'm with Thunderhead, check at school. Oh and as far as the "parent" thing. Don't hesitate to ask them for help. I'm sure that they love you. Forget pride...I remember back in the stone age..lol..I was Mr.Independent...left home in a huff. I still remember what I said when I walked out the door..."Yeah, well you won't have to worry about me anymore..cause I won't be back!" Three months later. I get dropped off at the highway and had to walk five miles to my parents house. Sold the car and most of my clothes. Quit my job to. When I got there, the dog started barking and Mom and Dad were waiting for me at the gate. My Dad, bless his soul, simply hugged me and said, "Hey boy, it's nice to see you again. You hungry?"...Sorry to be so long-winded about it Moonie, but this kinda freaked me out. Take care of you....  |
