I had all four impacted and pulled at once...I was out cold *iv drip* for the proceedure....when I woke up they tried to help me into recovery being thick skulled as I am batted them off telling them I could do it and promptly fell to the ground LMAO! they told me that I'd have major bruising and whatnot...I didn't have a problem with it....the only problem I had was with the vicadin *sp* EAT before you take your pain pills *they might put you on codine or something else though* Otherwise you'll be praying to the porcelin gods! I know! I was there! LOL! good luck hun it's really not that bad I was eating top romen the next day...  |

My friend had it done and she lied around for like 2 days!! She was pretty drugged up she didnt really know what was going on!! And we had to practically carry her out to the car lol!!  |

LoL!! funny you mention this cuz i just had my top ones out yesterday..got my bottom ones out in 7th grade..its not that bad..they knock you out, you go to sleep and then its over..but my mouth Kills now..i'm on pain killers and have an ice pack with me at all times..good luck  |

It isn't nearly as bad as you are probably thinking so try to relax about the whole thing. You'll be just fine. You know how dentists always keep your teeth after they take them out? Have you ever wondered what they do with them? I think you'll know when I tell you that I plan to buy yours as soon as they show up on Ebay.  |

I had 5 impacted, I wasn't out for it, even watched it in the little overhead mirror thing. Of course, I was on nitrous oxyde and 2 valium. lol. It's not that bad, but my dentist was kind of a quack and screwed up some things. So I don't know how long a normal person takes to heal. Don't stress it, it'll be ok!  |

I got all 4 of them taken out, and they actually didn't hurt me at all.. I mean it was sore afterwards, but that is normal.. *hugs* It depends on if your mouth swells or not.. but you will be better sooner then you think!  |

I just disike the dentist no matter what they are doin. The worst thing that I have ever had done so far was root canals and they were'nt as bad as people said they would be. As for teeth being pulled, I'm glad I've never had it done and I wish you good luck. Fire Cracker  |

I had 4 impacted wisdom teeth extracted last august. Don't sweat it at all, it really dosen't hurt that bad. Plus since your alot younger, the roots will be alot softer and shallower, which means it will hurt even less. When I awoke from the anestethia, I was in a state of pure lucid euphoria, it was actually very pleasent. But after that wears off theres some pain and swelling for a day or two. And the only ones that really hurt are the bottom ones. Plus one other thing to prepare for is the blood. It tastes REALLY nasty. And theres alot for the first few hours. And if you smoke, what ever you do, don't smoke until its healed, dry socket is hell. Thats about it. Don't worry, you'll be fine. I wish you the best of luck ;^)-Gandwere  |

It really isn't as bad as some of the stories people will tell you. DOn't let those stories freak you out. I had only 3, one was impacted, another was growning towards my cheek, and the third was growning towards the tooth in front. It wasn't too bad, and I got to drink milkshakes all day!! yeeeehawww!!! I've had to have 2 other teeth pulled out because there were no adult teeth underneath and my jaw was collapsing, but the teeth pulling wasn't that bad at all! And I don't have a good level of pain resistance, so you can take my word for it, it won't hurt to bad, and you might actually be back on your feet before the end of the day!  |

we aren't supposed to tell you they hurt! i have some circumstances of getting my wisdom teeth pulled, but it will probably be a couple years after you get yours pulled! but whenever i get fillings, i am told to think that i am in a dream world.. and just don't focus on the pain, focus on something beautiful, or soft or something. something that will take the pain away. i am sure it will hurt for a while, it will be hard to get used to eating different things when you have four missing teeth. just take it easy and relax. good luck. luv & hugs  |

I had all 4 of mine removed,2 were impacted and the other 2 were out.The removal of the teeth did not hurt as I was completely knocked out :)I have to say though that I was on pain medicine not tylenol 3 either and I would have to stay in bed as it made me groggy and very tired ,I was in bed for awhile after that surgery.LOL I am glad that I had all 4 removed at once or else I would not have gone back :)  |

I had all four of mine took out a few years ago. two were impacted and two weren't but I didn't expierence any pain at all believe it or not. I think the worse part of it was waiting for all of the numbness to go away so i could tell when i was slobbering. lol  |

well mine are still coming in but I might have to get them pulled, if you are young then you should be happy because it hurts more if your like really old and you are having problems. Don't be scared they can gas you if you want, that is what they will have to do with me, it is normal almost everyone has to have it done. You will be fine, I promise!  |
