Day of Silence   Author: 52804  Category:(Discussion) Created:(4/9/2002 6:18:00 PM) This post has been Viewed (320 times) Tomorrow, some students at my school are holding a demonstration to make people aware of the derogatory launguage expressed to lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender students. For the entire day (from 7AM to 7PM) students who wish to partisipate, will remain silent. Personally I think this is a really good idea. So many people say hurtful things about gays/lesbians and I think its great that some people are trying to do something about it. What do you think about this? Has anyone done or seen something like this at there school?
