I don't think there IS a "proper" way to wash your face.. some things you should do is always use warm water when washing your face and sometimes, add soap to the wash cloth (don't get it in your eyes, yowch) and then rinse it off. Generally, if you wash your face then you won't get pimples but that doesn't make you immune from them. As far as dryness goes, I'm not sure.. :) - |

I use oil of olay moisturizing cleansing cloths. It is the only thing that won't break my face out AND helps clear up any pimples that I had! They are worth the money!!! |

Uh. I sure would like to know. I've pretty much stopped getting zits, but when I do get them, I want to know how I can prevent them more, and I can't really figure it out. Jennaluv |

I have found that the secret to getting your skin clean is more in the amount of time that you spend on it than what you use... try to aim for a full minute of contact with whatever cleanser or soap you are using to give it chance to break through the dirt/oil/make-up. Use a washcloth in a circular motion with gentle pressure to help exfoliate and use an oil free mosturizer on only the areas that need it. Good Luck! :o) |

You can start out with using plain ole baking soda. Just use the warmest water that you can stand and wet your face and then put an amount about the size of a half dollar in the palm of your hand and then really clean your face with it. Rinse well with cold water and then put a good facial lotion on. Don't use this everyday because it will dry your skin out and on the days that you don't use it, just clean your face with a good soap such as ivory or dove and always remember to use lotion. This really does work and it doesn't cost alot of money either. Good luck. Much love and prayers |

when washing your face, slide your hands from your mouth to your hairline...and etc...if you go in a cirlcular motion it wont help get pimples away.because you'll just cover it up again w/ dirt
