The Long Ride **Frankenstein

It's hard to find a good mechanic who knows what he's doing and won't try to rob you of your retirement. I thought I'd found such a man a while back but it turned out that I was wrong. I was nearly halfway to Nashville when my car broke down. A leak in the radiator? Wasn't that what I just paid a fortune to get fixed. I shelled out even more money that I really didn't have. I couldn't believe it! Forget Nashville! I turned around and headed straight home. There was a fire burning deep inside of me and it couldn't be ignored. How could anyone in such a state ever enjoy a vacation. No! No way! There was some business to be taken care of! I never knew that a neck could twist that way. It was almost comical and you should have seen the look in his eyes! That expression? Oh man!! It's not too late. If I opened that trunk right now you could still see it if you were here. He fit so nicely in my trunk and I wondered what had caused the shocked look on the new mechanic's face at the shop shortly thereafter. I had forgotten that he was in there! It seemed like he was seeing something familiar. How funny is that? He fit nicely in there as well. It's a shame! I never even got a chance to see if he knew his craft! I wasn't the least bit nervous when that cop pulled me over. I had a headlight out and I'll get it fixed. I assured him of that. I confess here and now that I know nothing and I mean NOTHING about cars. I wish I knew a good mechanic! Darn it! I'm almost out of gas! I really don't like that guy at the convenient store! I think you may have a lesson to learn, Mr. $1.35 a gallon! I know that you don't set the prices but do you have to be so rude about it? Don't worry! I know they'll find someone else to hold down the fort while you're gone! Come on, just you and me...let's do "The TWIST!!!" I hope the jack handle doesn't hurt your back! Good night, sweet Prince! All is well....
