Date: 4/9/2002 8:42:00 PM  From Authorid: 10754    I have done both. There is sufficient evidence to support both sides of the argumen, as to whether or not it truely happened.

Date: 4/9/2002 8:54:00 PM  From Authorid: 50100    I wouldn't say it's wonderful. It made my skin crawl. The book and the movie are very different. Well to each his own. caramel kisses

Date: 4/9/2002 9:09:00 PM  From Authorid: 15070    Yes, and I read Demonologist Ed Warren's (New England Society For Paranormal Research)account. If you go to his web site, you will see pictures from inside the house. I MUST WARN YOU! there have been many investigative teams, newsreporters & T.V. shows that have refuted this story. It is a very, scary book though.
Date: 4/10/2002 1:47:00 AM  From Authorid: 44404    god, i read it in the fifth grade. it truely scard the bejesus outta me. but i eventually went back to it and convinced a teacher to let me do a book report on it in the 7th grade. and my dementia shows. lol. it was an entertaining movie and book, however, it was fiction. the truth that it is based on is not in the family that moves in, but in the actual event that preceeds the story in the book. the teen-age boy that kills his parents and siblings because he heard a "demonic" voice tell him to do it. at least that is what I got out of it. the book itself and the new family that moved into the house i think is all fictional. at least that was how i justified reading it in the fifth grade. lol. later, and thanks for that memory.
Date: 4/10/2002 5:18:00 AM  From Authorid: 21155    Just DON'T fall asleep while reading the book!! I did that once!
