I have done both. There is sufficient evidence to support both sides of the argumen, as to whether or not it truely happened. |

Yes, and I read Demonologist Ed Warren's (New England Society For Paranormal Research)account. If you go to his web site, you will see pictures from inside the house. I MUST WARN YOU! there have been many investigative teams, newsreporters & T.V. shows that have refuted this story. It is a very, scary book though. |

god, i read it in the fifth grade. it truely scard the bejesus outta me. but i eventually went back to it and convinced a teacher to let me do a book report on it in the 7th grade. and my dementia shows. lol. it was an entertaining movie and book, however, it was fiction. the truth that it is based on is not in the family that moves in, but in the actual event that preceeds the story in the book. the teen-age boy that kills his parents and siblings because he heard a "demonic" voice tell him to do it. at least that is what I got out of it. the book itself and the new family that moved into the house i think is all fictional. at least that was how i justified reading it in the fifth grade. lol. later, and thanks for that memory. |
