omg! that's horrible! what a scare that must've been before you knew what was going on...not that having to spend money you don't have is a good ending, but gosh! what a scary thing to have happen! *TearsForBradley* |

I hope you saved the receipts to show that you paid that check off. It makes me wonder I have a bill for $100 from a bank that I refuse to pay. I left $40 PLUS in the account. They had a monthly fee of $8.50 to maintain the account monthly so you figure they had roughly enough for 5 months right? No activity on this account...they stopped sending me statements and I assumed they had closed it cause they took all the money.....NOT....they hit it THREE months and charged me $30 for insufficient fees everytime they went to get their money and after three months they shut it down. I get on the phone with them and they tell me that they don't shut accounts down that I had to come in and do it. I said is the account still active...she tells me no, I said well obviously you close them down. What I don't understand is if there was no activity on the account for FIVE months and then comes the 6th month and they go to take the fees...WHY they didn't close it because the money wasn't there. I mean isn't that the general idea of charging the $8.50 a month to MAINTAIN the account? I mean if you stop paying your rent they kick you out right? So I refuse to pay it, I wonder if there is a warrant out for me...LOL |

What is sad about this is that if YOU had a check written by THEM, and you didnt cash it for a year, it would be NO good... Now if he writes a check that isnt good, then now, 4 years later.. WHAM.. they can STILL get him.. fair huh? I am sorry you are having to go through this.. I hope everything turns out okay for him.. huggggs.. |

Sis, I had that happen to me also. My oldest hit
a deer and I called the Sherrifs office to go
check on her before I got there. They were closer
then I was. When I get there, the deputy starts
laughing and says he has to take ME in cause there
was an OLD warrant for me. LMBO! It was for a bad
check that I took care of 2 yrs before. I thought
it was so funny cause the deputies know me and
never arrested me before, that I even was still
laughing when they took my mug shot! The deputy
and I both thought it was funny. Hugs and Love, |
