Look, there he is, on the TV Screen
the one with the beautiful blue eyes,
the one I wish was mine.
He's older, but I don't care,
to me he's everywhere.
Everything I think I know,
I really don't
Look, there he is, in that movie,
shining like the star he is.
I see him, but not really.
Talk, is all it is
to my friends, to myself,
trying to convince everyone he's not just an actor but so much more.
Look, there he is, walking down the red carpet,
he looks so happy,
but here I am all alone.
Why do I feel this way?
Why do I like him so much?
Look, there he is, on my computer screen.
He's staring back at me,
I reach out to touch him,
but all I feel is the cold, empty glass of the monitor.
Why can't I get him out of my head?
Look, there he is, in my dream,
he's my everything.
The harsh reality comes down on me like a brick,
The realization is making me sick.
Even though he is the one I want to keep,
He is the Man I'll Never Meet.....
