The post aboutThe Beatles got me to thinking what are some of your firstnews memories? My very first is first hand wathing one of the monkey space shots lift off from a beach near ape Caneveral. My second is JFK's assination I was 7 at the time I also remember seeing Viet Nam war coverage every night on the news with Peter Jennings doing the reporting live from Nam. I can also clearly recall the assinations of RFK my Father watched this happen live and MLK I remember being very frightend by talk of possible race riots. I an also remember the attempton George Wallace's life and see him lying in that parking lot full of blood. What are some of your news memories Hugs Mrs. Strider
