The Ten Commandments trying to be banned, but other religions are allowed to put up their religious

You all know about Judge Ray Moore, who had the ten commandments up his walls. Here is the truth about it. The plaque is small wooden carved the ten commandments on them, this is no bigger than a dinner plate. Many of those who worked in the court room, did NOT even know the ten commandments were even hunged there until this came out. Not just a few, but many people who went in the courtroom, never notice the Ten Commandments there at all. Even today people are still attacking Judge Ray Moore. For what, why, did these people ever hear about freedom of speach.

Here is the thing, the SAME courthouse, someone had a talisman which is a symbol of witchcraft, this same judge put up other symbols of witchcraft. Nobody ever complain about that. Why is that. One judge, an Buddish had a picture of Buddah and other religious symbols(not sure of what they are), but again nobody complained about that. Why. If other religions are allowed to put up their symbols, and nobody complains. WHY do people complain about Christians and Jews putting up their articles of faith.

Why does it seem that some religions are allowed to put up symbols of thier religions, and others are not allowed. Why is that. Why such a double standard.

Date: 4/10/2002 8:44:00 PM  From Authorid: 7830    This whole world is full of hypocricy. Everyone wants to throw a stone, but then is offended or mad when a stone is thrown at them. Every religion has its own hardships and battles. Even if someone doesnt believe in Christianity, they should let others believe in it as long as no harm is being done, same goes for every other religion. Whatever brings comfort to the believer as long as they dont harm anyone else or themselves.
Date: 4/11/2002 5:56:00 AM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 36967    I agree, I am a Christian. If I were in school, and a Teacher wants to put up the Wiccan Code(I think that is what it is called). I would have NO PROBLEM with that at all. Or if a teacher wants to put up a statue of Buddha, there again, I would have no problem with that, even if the teacher wants to pray to it, I still will have no problem, or even if the teacher wan to invite students to pray too, then I still will not have a problem with that. Now if the teacher forces people to pray to it, then that would be going to far.
Date: 4/11/2002 1:26:00 PM  From Authorid: 7830    I, myself, have been raised to believe more native american beliefs, but there are many aspects of Christianity I do believe in, such as love and forgiveness. And I do like many of the ten commandments, although if you asked me to name them all I wouldnt be able to =o) But each person's beliefs are their own God given right.
