Well if hell and satan exists, then God even exists there, because God created satan (supposedly) and that means God is a part of satan. Im not christian though. |

huma, how is kaz.... good i hope... knowledge itself is neutral, when knowledge comes in touch with the human mind, it becomes in our eyes good or evil. so in essence god is a part of it all , a name of sorts for our consciousness ,all our brains together, everything is everything , all in all. we are the eyes of "god", the knowledge is always here, it depends on what we do with it... good post.....stropharias |

i never got that, or how god being LOVE could possibly torture (have/ let be tortured) his CHILDREN eternally in hell fire for sinning when he says even we should forgive everything? how loving is that?? sounds like child abuse to me!!although im not christian anymore.... |

49277 he DOES forgive everthing.. just gotta ask for it! as simple as that! but if you don't ask, how does he know you're sorry? that's like saying if a child goes and a beats up another child, then you punish them because they didn't try to fix the damage, that it's child abuse... author: God IS everywhere. Except for hell. Why? Here's the deal. It's not all that easy to get into hell as he's made it so easy NOT to go there. If you sin, all you have to do is repent and your record is wiped clean. However, those that don't repent, or who KNOW him and then turn away (know as in have felt his spirit and know in their hearts that he exists, not just knows OF him..)can very well end up in hell. God isn't in hell because HE can't be there, sinners are in hell because they are too sinful to stand being in God's presence. Basically, we have our agency. With our agency, we can choose to believe in Him or choose NOT to believe in Him. We can choose to sin and repent or we can choose to sin and NOT repent. We know what the consequences are. If we don't do the right thing, what's God to think but that we don't WANT to be with him? We send OURSELVES to hell. It's as simple as that. You show him what you want, He gives it to ya. And to compare it to child abuse is absurd. People say that sort of thing when they don't like to hear something they do is wrong. |

and by the way, hell being seperation from God is what makes it hell. It's the purpose of hell. |

Hell is religion's "nerf bat". It's used to eep adherants in line; keep them believing the party line and thus continuing the cash flow into the tills. If one doesn't believe in hell, one has no problem with this notion as it has no meaning. It's a contortion of spiritual ideas bundled in a heap of uncertainty. The only answer to which must be: these are the things we can never understand. But if God is omnipresent and all Love, there can logically be no eternal torture. Spirit is of God, spirit returns to God for it's next asignment. Spirit continues to learn and grow unti it returns complete and reunites with the Divine. Simple answer but it's goes against mainstream religious thought. It works far better for logic though. JMO |

God is everywhere..God knows all things and can do all things. The Bible strongly suggests that God Himself chooses not to be aware of those who end up in hell. It's as if God closes a door and never acknowlegdes their existence in hell.He showed them so much mercy and gave them many chances while they were yet alive on earth. It is the people who are to blame if they end up in hell.. |

The word "hell" occurs fifty-three times in the Bible (King James version); thirty- one times in the Old Testament, and twenty-two times in the New Testament.
In every one of the thirty-one times that the word hell is found in the Old Testament, it is translated from the Hebrew word sheol, and means the grave. The same Hebrew word sheol is also translated "grave" thirty-one times and "the pit" three times.
Why the word sheol, which appears sixty-five times in Hebrew Old Testament, should be translated hell thirty-one times, or even once, is beyond reason.
In the New Testament the word hell is translated from the Greek words hades, ten times, ge-enna, eleven times, and from tartaroo just once.
The word hades is the Greek equivalent for the Hebrew word sheol, and for the English word grave. In every instance it means the grave.
The Greek word ge-enna means literally, the valley of Hinnom, and has reference to a deep, narrow glen to the south of Jerusalem, which was defiled by the worship of Molock, and afterwards used as a place to burn all kinds of filth and carcasses of animals, the bodies of criminals, and refuse generally.
The Greek word tartaroo means darkness.
Thus the reader can readily see that the word hell, with all that goes with it, is simply an invention, dating its origin long after the Bible was written.
If the words translated hell in the Bible were given their true meanings the English word hell would not appear in the Scriptures at all.
In the Revised Version of the New Testament the Greek word hades is used instead of hell in ten instances. The word hell is retained where translated from the Greek words ge-enna and tartaroo.
Come on people, why would our loving God send his people to burn for eternity? We will all be judged and the wicked will be destroyed.
Also a note about Satan: He is on this earth with us, not in a pit of fire. PAVE====

Quite frankly, I don't believe in the hell I've been taught about. I believe that hell is on earth, and since God is with us on earth, then I guess God is in hell. ~*Real Tears*~ |
