Sure... A post that remains at the top has been "topped" by Ginger or AdminRed. They do this if they want to, or to bring things to people's attention. They are not on 100% of the time eyes glued to the screen, and so don't always see things that they otherwise might consider topping... Hope this helps  |

I think it is when someone like Korn Gurl has done a whole lot for usm! She is a taggie maker & has her own coffe house room & goes out of her way to help all usmers in any way she can! I think this is just a great way to say thank you!  |

Ginger and Radman are the ones who choose a story for the top... They do a great job of finding the general interest stories... If you did it this morning, then they havent had time to go through todays stories. I think announcing a New ChatMin is very news worthy for USM, especially for chatters so they will know who they are..  |

Some people are more important than others. That sounds mean, but it is true here and in real life. It's sort of like in a newspaper. Who ever runs the newspaper decides what goes on the front page. Don't feel bad, I'm probably deemed far less important than most of the people here.  |

I think it's all selected by importance.....as mg said that post is sorta as a 'thankyou' to amanda....I can say I've seen many posts that I feel would be worthy of staying at the top....even written a few. I myself have only had one *by request of some other members* Stay up at top *Shrugs* just depends on what the admins deem as 'important'  |
