I don't really know. Why do eggs go along with bunnies? Where did it all start? I mean, like, I thought that Bunnies just had Bunnies they didn't hatch in eggs! So why is the eggs with bunnies. And what does Easter mean? Nice Post! *Hugs* |

Easter has pagan DNA. Eggs are the symbol of rebirth and renewal. The celebration of the Goddess Ostara. The hare was her consort. The celebration was to welcome spring. The pagan custom was to exchange colored eggs as a sign of renewal. |

Where did it all start...something I have been wondering myself. How do we get a Bunny rabbit passing out eggs confused with the resurrection of Christ. Since when do rabbit lay eggs? |

Well, the eggs came from a chicken, as for the Easter Bunny...it's really a "jack-a-lope" |

The hare *rabbit* was the Goddess's consort. The hare is a fertility symbol. |
