CHRISTIANS AND WICCANS...Pammierose

Recently there was a post inidcating that Christians should apologize to wiccans for all threir suffering. First of all USM, is not a site soley intended for bashing in any form whatsoever. It is a site where people of all ages, faiths, nationalities, and backgrounds come together to share, support, learn and love one another. We are all family here and being so, we should always endeavor to treat each other as we would anyone else in our own families.

I want to make a point here for both Christians and wiccans alike:

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, these people of Wicca have been terribly slandered by us. They have lost jobs, and homes, and places of business because we have assured others that they worship Satan, which they do not. We have persecuted them, and God will hold us accountable for this, you may be sure, for He has said, "Assuredly I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me." (Matthew 25:40)

Let us, from this point onward, repent of our misdeeds and declare that henceforth we shall obey Christ our God, and not judge others or condemn them, so that He will not have to judge and condemn us for our sins.

We don't have to agree with each other, but we do have to respect each other's beliefs and the fact that we all are given free choice to choose as we will and do as we will.

NO ONE, be it a christian or a wiccan has the right to judge another, or belittle anyone for what they believe. Judge not, lest ye be judged!

As a christian and based on what the bible tells me, I don't agree with wiccan beliefs, but does that make a wiccan any lesser than me? Absolutely NOT! Does that give me license to bash or bereate them..absolutely NOT! Do they not bleed red blood just like me? Do they not feel and hurt just like me? I AM IN NO WAY CONDONING THE WICCAN BELIEF...I am just saying they have their rights, just like we do, to believe and to worship as they wish. I don't look at anyone as if they are beneath me, in fact, I look at all people as they are above me.

Please people, stop all the bashing and come to USM as a united front, being here to share and to care and use the site as it has been intended to be used.
