Now and Forever Trash by -ID-   Author:  29806  Category:(Poetry) Created:(4/30/2002 7:52:00 PM) This post has been Viewed (385 times) Now and Forever Trash I see you, as I lay there, your eyes shining, your skin so fair the girl of my dreams, I see above, my heart is throbbing, could this be love? You smile at me, and so the dark does fade but I cannot see through the game you've played you've lured me in, only to cast me out you wickedly smile, as I cry and shout throwing me back into the abyss from which I came I fall upon my face, whimper and cower in shame. I see myself again, lonely and afraid, I could not see through your charade, once again, here I am, upon the earth where there is no joy, there is no mirth cast down from the heavens, stripped of my wings, I am now mortal, and depression this brings. I beat my fists upon the hardened ground, In the eternal darkness my voice has drowned, I scream in silence, "Why hath thou forsaken me?" but you listen not, and smile with malicious glee, knowing that you have ripped my beating heart away Intoxicating me with love, upon me you did prey. Now upon my knees, I stare into my grave, looking at myself, no longer a slave, the curse of emotions I have throw aside, my body lives, but my mind has died. Because of love, the bane of humanity, a natural opiate, causing insanity. I crawl deep into my tomb, finding comfort within the gloom, I enter a dreamless sleep as I wait for the next woman who will again desecrate this fragile plaything that is me. I am now, and will forever be.... Trash.
