I'll be forty in November and I'm fine with that. My mind is the best it's ever been. I have had so much time to accumulate so much knowledge and life experience and I wouldn't trade that for youth. Both have their advantages but I think I'm content staying just like I am. Ask me this again in twenty years and see what I say then. :)  |

Funny you should ask. I use all kinds of stuff on my face to keep looking young (vitamin C oil is great!!). I really don't mind adding years to my life,but I sure don't want to look it.  |

Getting and turning into a wise one makes a big difference in life.I believe the older you get the more you appreciate life.This is GOD given gift to all of us and we need to have and open mind and heart to enjoy the beauty in this world.
No i am not worried of wrinkles or not having a perfect body anymore or ever really as long as my spirit is in joy with our father and beloved by everyone around me my life in existense is complete.

well sweetie I suppose you'd say I was already old !!LOL!! and your right, I am, but I honestly dont feel old, I dont feel any older in the mind than when I was 25yrs, and besides whats wrong with a few laugh lines in the face, I'm a lot wiser than I was when I was 25, ageing is something out of our hands hun, so we have to accept it, as time stands still for no one..good post..cheers  |

Why worry about getting old, it only creates more wrinkles! How old is "old' anyway? Maybe I am already old and don't know it!lol. Why worry about dying ? We only leave here and go somewhere else! Getting older can be a worry and it can also be a right of passage.....with each new year passed comes new and different changes....and I try to look at problems now as challenges....so getting older is a natural think in the order of things....how we handle the challenges defines us.  |

I don't find growing old scary. I would love to watch my children grow up and have children, and sit on the porch swing with my husband saying "huh" to each other, lol :D The thought of dying young is what scares me.  |

I don't fear it but I dread the thought. Its not the wrinkles that worry me. I will hate giving up my old perfume fragrance for the new Ben-gay and vicks ones. I will dread the health problems and the loneliness. When you get so old, no one seems to like coming around anymore. I will hate giving up my freedom, driving and eventually my privacy and dignity.Oh yes, I will be wiser but who in the heck will care?  |

It scares me a little bit, that is why you shoudl enjoy life as much as you can when you are young. I think there will be some happiness with getting older though, possibly having grandchildren will be fun :) |
