we use about 80% of our brain maybe a little bit more. but its the other 20% or so if you could train it you could be able to do about anything.  |

i think we use 50% of the brain cause we do an alot of things(cook,read,sleep,math,move,psychic abilites,etc) so how on earth can we use only 10%of brain? |

no one knows what the human brain is capable off, so how could we know if ten percent is enough, or too much, obviously we don't use all of our brain, becaue if we did, we wouldn't b all training for anything, because we would already have it, and thats why we train, to be the best we could ever be, ten percent, it seems kindove small, i have to admit, i do believe that we only use somewere around 10%, i just can't see us using much mroe than that. ~Teach~ |

Actually...it IS a myth about the 10% thing. You see...the thing is that the average Human only uses 10% of their brain AT ANY ONE TIME. Why? Because the human brain is segmented...there are various 'segments/areas' of the brain that are utilised for specific things/actions. Like if we speak, or sing, or move, or dance, eat, sleep, contemplate, plan etc...all these things utilise a different 'sector' of the brain. So while we may only use around 10% at any one time to perform a single action...in the course of the average day Humans actually utilise something like 75-80% of their entire brain mass. Peace,  |

I think it was proven(I think) that we use 100% our brain but we still have not tapped into certain areas of our brain. The areas that have tk, pk, etc.  |

Ok..for the last time..IT IS NOT A MYTH!!! It has been proven in the medical field. Read online...Open a book...Ask someone...We only use 10%. I have no clue where you heard we use 100%, but you must have been misinformed. IT HAS BEEN PROVEN. There is no argument. Maybe its your opinion we use 100%, but fact and opinion are 2 different things. This is FACT!!! Sorry if I'm harsh, but I'm just telling you like it is. |

why would God give us amazing brains if we can only use 10% of it, i mean your vision takes up over 10% of your brain, The brain has extra space, dont get me wrong, this allows for more memory to be put there i mean, after 70 years alot of information is stored in there. we may consciously use 10% as our basic motherboard, but i cant believe that 90% is just put to waste, give me a website that says that and maybe ill believe you(a good website, no hoky-poky ones)  |
