To mom --IcyFire

----I wrote this for my mom for Mother's Day..I'm gonna give it to her :) ----

You're the perfect mother for me,
you give me freedom and I know you care.
You let me be my own person,
and I know that you'll always be there.

I know you wanted a little girl,
that would wear pink dresses and such.
And when I turned out a tomboy,
you loved me just as much.

You don't push me to change myself,
you love me for who I am inside.
You don't mind if I do bad at school,
just as long as you know I tried.

I'm sorry if I ever yell at you,
I never want to cause you pain.
I'm just really moody sometimes,
it's something that I can't explain.

You are seriously a really cool mom,
there's just so much that I can say.
I wouldn't want any mother but you,
I wouldn't have it any other way.

So I hope this poem will be alright,
I hope that it's better than a card from the store.
Because this came from my heart,
I didn't just pull it out of a dresser drawer.

So on Mother's Day, I hope you feel special,
you really deserve a day just for you.
Mom, I love you, even if I don't show it,
I hope that's something you always knew.
