Very few people responded because of the title I chose, yet I believe that there are many who would find this interesting so I am reposting it today. Hope You find it interesting. Enki One of the topics I have always been interested in is, did someone in the past use some sort of Atomic Weaponry to destroy cities in the Ancient past. We are all familiar with the story of Sodom and Gommorah, but how many of us know that the tale of thier destruction comes from earlier writings which tell a different story. Another source of writings which describe Atomic like destruction of civilisations is the Mahabharata. In that Ancient Indian Holy Book are many descriptions of awesome weaponry being used in battle here on earth. Is there any evidence to back up these tales of destruction? Yes there is and more is being found. I downloaded the following Information off the net and it makes You wonder if Ancient mankind actually witnessed Atomic warfare being waged by the Gods in our distant past. Radiation so intense, the area is highly dangerous. A heavy layer of radioactive ash in Rajasthan, India, covers a three square mile area, ten miles west of Jodpur. Scientists are investigating the site, where a housing project was being built. For some time it has been established that there is a very high rate of birth defects and cancer in the area under construction. The levels of radiation have been so high on investigators guages that the Indian government has now cordoned off the area. Scientists have unearthed an ancient city where evidence shows an atomic blast dating back thousands of years, from 8,000 to 12,000 years, destroyed most of the buildings and problably half a million people. Construction has halted while a five man team conducts an investigation. The layer of radioactive dust certainly lends credibility to the ancient Indian records. This isnt the only site in India with evidence of ancient atomic warfare. Incredible though it may seem archaeologists have found evidence in India and Pakistan that some cities were destroyed in Atomic explosions. When excavations reached the street level at Harappa and Mohenjo-Daro they discovered skeletons scattered about the cities and holding hands and sprawling in the streets as if some horrible doom had taken place. People were just lying unburied, in the streets of the cities. What could cause such a thing? Why were the corpses not eaten by wild animals? Why did the bodies not decay? Why is there no apparent cause of a physically violent death? These skeletons are among the most radioactive ever found, on par with those found at Nagasaki and Hiroshima. At one site Russian scholars found a skeleton that was 50 times more radioactive than normal. Other cities have been found in Northern India that show indications of explosions of great magnitude. Huge masses of walls and foundations are fused together, literally vitrified. The cities were wiped out literally. Since there is no evidence of volcanic activity, the intense heat can only be explained by Atomic blast or some other unknown weapon. With India and Pakistan both in possesion of Nuclear weapons today and fighting over possesion of Kashmir we have to wonder if history is about to repeat itself. Here are some excerpts from the Mahabharata which describe these explosions. "It was a single projectile charged with all the power of the universe. An incandescent column of smoke and flame as bright as ten thousand suns rose in all its splendor. It was an unknown weapon, an iron thunderbolt, a gigantic messenger of death which reduced to ashes the entire race of the Vrishnas and Andhakas." "The corpses were so burned as to be unrecognisable. The hair and nails fell out. Pottery broke without apparent cause and the birds turned white. After a few hours all foodstuffs were infected. To escape this fire soldiers threw themselves in the river to wash themselves and thier equipment." Other passages speak of great fireballs that could destroy an entire city, which could burn 50,000 men to ashes in mere seconds and flying spears which ruin whole cities full of forts. Another passage from the Drona Parva tells of combat where explosions of final weapons decimate entire armies causing crowds of warriors with horses and elephants and weapons to be carried away as if they were dry leaves on a tree. After reading the above passages and looking at the radioactive ruins of ancient cities one has to wonder if there is more to the history of mankind than what we are taught in school. Bye for now.
