The Redneck and the Cosmo Girl He sat upon his Chevy truck praying to the stars that someday time would take him away and away from here he'd fly And the cosmo girl, she watched his plight from a secret star he called her name and she came for she, knew he was lovely He asked her if she knew the way and she told him it was with her and he, not one for romance, asked if she cared for beer she laughed it off, this cosmo girl, she took his hand, and off they flew to a land, far away I'll try again later, I know I can do better  |

hehe, i go to other sites and post my poetry, those professional poets tell me my stuff is very bad, almost infantile (lol) but I don't care, because I never wrote poetry before i came to usm, and I thank the site for providing this great outlet  |
