Not only will this give you converstation, but you'll get to know about them. Just relax, ask some questions, reply to theirs and dont forget to laugh and SMILE!! It really helps! Good luck .....

I was sort of that way as a kid and look at me now. I don't care to talk to almost anyone now at anytime. I'm the world's worst to walk up to a total stranger and just start a conversation. My Bride used to be very shy but she's finally coming out of it in a big way. She's no longer uncomfortable talking to people. Just give it time and you'll be okay! 8D
