How about a scrap book of his life and his childrens/grandchildrens lives. Something he can look at and enjoy for the rest of his life (c: Good Luck. Peace and Love. P.s. Have little notes from everyone written to him if possible. |

If you're that close, then a visit would be in order. Would that make him very happy? It would me! |

I mean PERSONALLY close, not distance. Nothing can brighten a Dads' day more than a kid's visitation. And if you have to travel, then it makes it all that much more special. |

Sigh... I am in Iowa and he in North Carolina. I have seen him more this past year then in prior years because my daughter goes to college in Virginia which is four hours from him. I know that at 82 I need to savor every moment we talk on the phone or can visit because his time on earth won't be much longer. I made him a chart and book once on part of his genealogy and he liked that a lot. A scrap book is a good idea, but due to the short time factor I may have to save that for Christmas. Thanks for the ideas! Hey,Hey,Paula |

If he has everything he needs, then he also has your love. Make sure he knows the most important reasons why you have always looked up to him and loved him, and he will be the richest man on earth. |
