I was sleeping downstairs on a night in February a while ago. I slept downstairs because it was abnormally cold in my room! I slept on a sofa bed. There were 4 windows. One directly in front of me and then the other 3 circling around until one was to my right. Suddenly, I woke up. I had just had a terrible dream about 'death' (the 'ghost' in a black hooded cape that finds people and kills them or something like that). Unlike most movies, pictures, costumes I have seen of death with brihgt red eyes, this one in my dream had bright green lights as if they were lights. He was chasing an auburn haired person. While she tried running from him, he pulled an axe out. Just as she was about to be killed, she looked at me. She looked at me and said to me, 'Beware! Beware! For someone shall die! Someone shall die!' She kept screaming more stuff to me, then she got killed. Death looked at me and said, 'I spare you, but someone must take your place!' I woke up, scared half to death. I didn't scream. What I saw next, scared me much too much to scream. A man, dressed in a red jacket, white breeches stood at the window parallel to where I was lying. I saw his beard white beard and his face. He looked old and he held a gun. I moved left in my bed and stared straight at him. I was no longer parallel to him, but a cold breeze blew right at me. I ignored it. The man seemed more important to me. It was a scarier sight than simple wind. I heard shreiking fromt he direction that the wind was blowing. I remember not being able to breathe. I WAS THAT SCARED! I looked left, choking since I could not breathe. When I looked left, I saw a woman with blonde hair in a white dress. The dress was flowing. It couldn't have been her that shreiked. I got a pain in my chest. It was cold and felt as though I had thousands of pounds on me. I sat up, barely being able to. The blonde woman reached out towards my throat. Somehow, I trusted her and did! n't move away. She looked so familiar. Her hand was cold on my throat, but I started breathing in a matter of seconds! She had saved my life. I remember looking at the clock on the wall, thinking, 'I'm dying. I really am. I am trully dying.' I was cold, and everything was turning black. The man at the window was looking at me. The time was 5am. 6 hours behind the time in Poland, Europe. It was 11am there. That was the same exact time I had my dream, and the same exact time they found my great uncle murdered: stabbed to death. I had a cold for a while later, having trouble breathing the most. What could've caused this? I definatley do not know! what was weirdest was that my parents heard screams at about a quarter past 5am and they came to see what was wrong. (i remember having dreams that night, filled with shreiks like the ones i heard before, at least for the first few seconds of sleep) the thing is, they didnt here the screams for where i was sleeping. they found me sound asleep under the blankets in my bed. AND I WAS THINKING JUST NOW, IF THAT WAS ALL A DREAM, HOW COULD I BE SO SOUND ALSEEP, WITH THE BLANKETS SEEMINGLY UNTOUCHED ON ME? (THE WAY MOM & DAD DESCRIBED THEM) they didnt dare wake me. they KNEW the screams came from another part of the house. shreiks! either in the basement or the main hall or outside. i can never go in the basement alone now. i have a bad feeling about there. i have a feeling that thats where the shreiks came from. Odd events like that still happen. Sometimes weirder. Chairs moving across the floor. ONLY MY PHONE ringing late at night. Late late. at 12. It always stops ringing when I'm awake. My room is often colder than it should be. Weird things happen to tv sets, computers, and other electronic devices sort of flashing sometimes. Other times not working properly, often fading and coming back to normal with a weird sound. I see white blurs. Sometimes I hear voices and see faces. Nothing is as scary as what happened not too long ago... I was in the bathroom and I pushed the door. It opened about 2 inches then pulled shut from me. I pulled again, the lights faded a little bit every second. I didn't want to be there all alone. I screamed but nobody heard me. I pulled the door and it opened wide. I ran. Although I hadn't turned the lights off, they were off, switch down nd everything! I asked my parents why they didn't hear me screaming. They just asked worriedly, 'When? When did you scream?' Later that night, I found an old, abandoned, and dusty phone. Although unplugged, I managed calling my friend on it! I MEAN IT WASN'T PLUGGED IN OR CLOSE TO BEING PLUGGED IN, AND MY FRIEND AND I HAD A LENGTHY CONVERSATION! Then, trying to call her again, I heard laughter through the phone. No dial tone at all. Just laughter, so quiet. The last weird thing that happens to me: I remember things as though they happened already. From dreams. Before. I get this sick feeling in my stomach many times when this happens. It happens several times a day. There are rare days when this doesn't accur and rare days when it accurs just once. Call it dejavu. SORRY FOR HAVING THIS LENGTHY! How it changed my life:I can never go to sleep soundly when I am cold. NEVER! I am very scared of the basement which is hard for even me to believe! But I am less shy of other people.
