When I look the people around me I see people who have no mind of their own, and no self respect,
How can they be so ignorant, so oblivious and still be able to live with themselves when its themselves they willfully neglect?
It's pathetic, the way people follow society, their just like toys on an assembly line,
They obey hypocrites who speak of freedom while its them they will eventually confine.
When "we" look at society,
Blindness, immaturity, and ignorance are all we see.
Sadly things will never change,
Forever separated, the popular and deranged as well as the so called strange.
Live life searching for the answer, whats the question?
A test which you can't make out for your papers stained with judgement on impression.
All in all its just another brick in the wall, in the end none of it will matter,
Close your eyes, do you see the vision? A picture of the world hitting the ground, vivid is the impact as you watch it shatter.
Thought provoking, what if that wall was to crumble,
Will the authority be there to catch you when your walking the road we call life and trip or stumble?
That wall with all the added bricks why must it be so high, consider to some it may be perfect protection,
Ironic how detrimental is perfection.
No dark sarcasm in the classroom, a statement dripping with reality, glowing true,
Surprised you asked, considering your position, feels odd to be here showing this to you.
NOTE:To help you understand the last stanza, my english teacher gave me an assignment to write a poem on I guess you would say...society and my views on it...and well lets just say she knew it was going to start with I love america lol....thanks for reading :)
