I have seen the movie also. If the name of the lead character is bugging you it's Kirk Cameron. I don't know if he was in Family Ties but I know he was in Growing Pains.I think the second one makes more sense also. Doesn't the Lord want to give those left behind a second chance? I hope the 2nd one is true because I don't want to be stuck down here and suffer the World Wide Earthquake and everything else predicted in Revelation. By the way, there are 2 series relating to that movie. There is Left Behind: The Adult version- which features Buck (Cameron) Williams. Then there is Left Behind: The Kids which are kids who also came to New Hope Village Church (I'm pretty sure that's the name. oh ok, I knew it was one of those old tv shows, lol. The thing is though although we get to change ur minds after the rapture, we stil have to wait until we die till we can go to heaven,and that could be through the whole of tribulation, but it does say that God will put extra special protection for his people during the end times, thanx for your info roxy. As far as tribulation, I am more worried about the gigantic meteor and the star shower that will plumet the earth! lol  |

I believe in the rapture before simply because of this. . .in Revelation (The beginning of it) Jesus invites John into heaven, which I believe is symbolic of the church, since he was a church patriarc (spelling). Revelation fells to mention the church in chapters 4-18, which is the beginning of the tribulation period. The extensive old testament language and symbols is an indication of Israel, not the church. This understandable since the curch age is in the time of the Gentiles., where as the Tribulation is the time of Jacobs trouble, or the seventieth week of of Daniel. Revelation 3:10 promises since we have kept His command He will keep us from the hour of trial. I am not sure about the verse though. I will look that up. JMO

I'm sure I have a post on this somewhere in my files, if I find it I'll give you the url. But when JEsUS comes back for his people, the dead in christ, shall rise first and then those of us that remain and have accepted JesUS as our lord and savior will be next. Those that have not, will remain here during the triublation person, which consist of seven years, NOW some think we will go with Jesus in the first part of that seven years, some think the middle and some think more toward the end. However, after this there will be people that were left behind that actually FINALLY will believe what christians have been saying and turn thier lives to JESUS, however they will still have to remain for the tribulation period. Then satan will be bound for 1,000 years and we will all live on this earth with JESUS, then satan will be loosed for a season, and then the battle of armageddon will happen. After that this world will fold up and be done away with as the new heavens and earth will come down. Hope that helps. |

do you think though that in the tme where the dead in christ go up that the people who have died through out time will be resurected? thats what I was taught. |
