If we are questioning the fact that churches should not burn incense due to it's ties with Paganism then what about the 'Maypole' celebrations. Almost every church in the UK has a maypole, I am hard pushed to think of a more Pagan ceremony. |

I dont burn them. and the ONLY reason I dont burn them is that I can find any "smells" that agree with my allergies. They all clog me up.  |

I have some Frankencence and Murr, and they are Incense. I do not burn them only because they remind me of the Gifts that was given to the Infant Jesus.  |

Personally the incense that the Catholics burn smells atrocious. I don't think there is anything wrong with burning incense per se but I have heard it has some "pagan" or as I like to think of it alternative meaning. *** bad kitty *** |
