Confusion!!

i have this friend who like me is in a long distance relationship. Well this last year things have been rocky with her bf. he even disappeared out of her life for a few months and all she did was cry and became so depressed. then he came back into her life and they decided to work things out. well she has only spoken to him a few times in the last few months and still she loves him so much but inside she is depressed. Well a few months ago she met another guy and they became friends. they went out a couple of times...she wanted to see if she could maybe get to know another guy and see what it was like. well now she likes this guy but is still inlove with her bf....i cant help her the way i want...i know she loves her bf to death so could it just be infatuation with this new guy??? is she trying to replace her bf who is not here??? By the way her and this guy made an agreement that they would only be friends...he told her he didnt want a relationship and she told him she was already in one so that would be no problem....but he calls her every night and they go out every other weekend. I can tell shes getting attached to him and she may very well be developing some feelings that she shouldnt be. She even wants to tell him how she feels but she is scared of his reaction. She says that her relationship is probably over since her bf doesnt seem to care anymore....but she says shes angry at how things have turned out between her and her bf cause they had plans and she was so sure he was the one, even i had never seen her so happy and i hate to see her the way she is now, so confused and hurt. How can i help her???
