I have had chemical straightening done and I hated it. It did nothing to my hair except make it wavy. But you could try... - Luv Bug |

It will dry your hair out a little because it is a chemical treatment. Just call around to find a good salon. |

How much did it cost for you guys? And when you got out of the shower/pool/etc did it dry straight naturally? -Emmers- |

yeah it costs the same as a perm. its basically the same treatment except they brush and pull it straight instead of curling it. If you have long hair it will probably cost about $120... |

I have perfectly straight hair, so I do not have to worry about straightening it. Don't they have electric hair straighteners for like pretty cheap? Do they work? |

Yep...I have one and it works great...for the first 5 minutes! But I have hair that poofs out in humidity and the second I get out the door it curls on me. I want to be able to get out of the shower and just let it dry naturally straight! |

I have the same problem. I have wanted straight hair all my life. When I try the straightening iron, it works for a few minutes, and then after that- Poofy city. It drives me crazy. I am so envious of girls who can just let their hair dry naturally and not have a frizzy mess to deal with. |

I use to have really curly hair but now its straight. I used a straightner for like a month or two to get it straight and then eventually it stayed straight on its own. ~*Lita*~ |

I used this stuff today that worked GREAT on my hair. It is a chemical hair straightener called Straightener hair straightening treatment from a brand called Ogilvie salon styles. You can get this stuff at Walgreens for $9.99. I am cursed with wavy hair and I tried this and my hair is perfectly straight now! there are two different kinds of this stuff but I used the stuff that said new and improved formula on it...if you have any questions about the way it works msg me I still have the instructions |
