I think they mean clear your mind of all processing thought. Try this, close your eyes, take a deep breath, and expel all thoughts from your head as you breath out. Concentrate on the noise your breathing makes, and nothing else. Then just relax with it. It helps to not have any noise around you. It is just a very calming experience. Imagine a moment of absolute nothing mmmmmmmmmm..... Boomie....  |

Here is a good method from a book. Memorize a picture as best u can with every detail. The picture the picture slowly piece by piece getting erased from your memory. When you are done you'll have a few seconds of clear thought and then you will start asking yourself if you did it. If you practice, you will become good at it.  |

The best meditating method is when your alone and you have to concerate one cartain thing thinking of only that clear your mind and just wonder off into that object. |
