This story is about an old couple, who were driving home after a game of bridge. The sun had just set,it was getting on to be 11:00 o'clock. The old man (driving)says to his wife "I have to take a leak" The wife replies that there is no rest stop for miles. Listening to the call of nature he pulls over and relieves himself on the side of the road. his wife turns on the radio, and the man says "This is one of my favorite songs". He by chance glances over his shoulder and see's a small figure walking down the side of the highway, to the north. It looks like a small girl, he can barely see her in the darkness the moon gives a bit of light. He shouts "HELLO...WERE ARE YOUR PARENTS?" There is no reply,he gets in the car and drives it forward, towards her. He pulls up to the girl and to his horror realizes it is on of those wind up dolls that walk. He slams his door shut and peels away. When the elderly couple get home they get out of the car,run to their house and lock the doors. The old woman goes out later to put food out for the cats, and there standing at there porch is the same doll that was on the road miles from there house.
The moral:When you have to go while travelling, go to a rest stop. Also don't sleep with dolls in your room
