It All Started At The Bank **Frankenstein

I walked up to the counter today and the teller told me that I couldn't make a withdrawal because the account had been closed due to a lack to funds. How could I have known the condition of it when I stole the number? It's wise to always look and see what's going on around you when you're at ATMs before you make any transactions. On the other hand, it's also wise to take a look at who you're scamming. I guess some people still aren't aware of that. Well, you live and learn! I told the lady that I begged to differ and the moment she spotted the muzzle of my pistol, she was quick to agree. Needless to say, I got out of there pretty quick once I had the funds that I had gone there in search of.

I never understood what the point was in learning a skill if you never get a chance to put it to use. That's how I felt about the Marines. Today's events changed that somewhat. Sure, I was a sharp shooter and I even had medals for my achievements but what good was that? I never got to go to any wars so why did I waste so much time and effort? The answer is, I didn't. Right at this moment as I lie here on the top of the bank with the police officers down below sited in my scope I'm laughing inside as I pick them off one by one. It's a shame that they go to such trouble to wear those expensive bullet-proof vests but there's no such thing as a hat like that.

I can hear helicopters approaching now and I don't like the sound of that at all. That is NOT a good sign! I could never dream of getting out of here intact right now if I had to rely on conventional means. This plan is working out perfectly, though. I put some thought into it. The steel cable that I strung over to the building next door this morning is about to prove it's usefulness. My motto is slip on the backpack and let it slide. Why am I wearing a suit? I'll tell you why. Who would ever suspect anything on an otherwise normal day if a man walked out of a building full of busy offices, dressed that way and carrying a brief case? Don't you see by now? The brief case is in the back pack but very shortly after I get there, the opposite will be true.

The car that is waiting isn't stolen. I simply convinced a friend that I had a matter of urgency to deal with and I desperately needed a ride downtown. I said that my car wasn't running for some reason. Was that wrong of me? My instincts had been right on the money and he handed me the keys and gave me his blessing. It won't be much of a drive. The private air field is just down the road. Wish me well! I'll try to send you a post card!
